21-year-old young man stabbed to death in Western Region.

Information reaching soireenews indicates that a 21- year - an old young man known to be Elijah has been stabbed to death at Krupaho, a community in the Wasa Akropong district of the Western Region.

An eyewitness disclosed that there was a little misunderstanding between the deceased friend and a 22 - year - an old young man called Akpalu at Colombian city, a known pub in the community. An attempt by Elijah to assist his friend fight Akpalu resulted in stabbing him in the rib leading to his death on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The family of the deceased who was in tears and a state of shock could not speak to the media. They explained that the demise of their beloved son has hurt them since Elijah was the only male ward to his parents.

The suspect, Akpalu, fled after causing the havoc but Wasa Akropong police worked tirelessly arresting him on the same day.

Meanwhile, Inhabitants at Krupho are pleading with the authority to vandalize Colombian city, a known base for weed smokers and prostitutes located at the krupaho enclave.

Some stressed that the place has since been known for wrongdoing but nothing has been done about it.

The deceased body has been deposited at the Wasa Akropong hospital morgue while the suspect, Akpalu is currently in the Wasa Akropong police custody to appear before the court on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
