The Residents of Boete in the Obuasi East District of Ashanti region were thrown in a state of shock following the alleged murder of a 5- year-old boy.

Emmanuel Adjei, 21 allegedly Killed Maxwell Amoako, 5-year-old at Boete for spiritually haunting him.

Speaking to Soireenews correspondent, Kofi Owusu Brempong, Emmanuel explained that the murdered 5-year-old together with his mum has been tormenting his life spiritually by having sexual affair with him and sometimes, manifesting it in the physical world.

Emmanuel said he acted out of frustration and anger.

"The boy and his mum has been having a sexual encounter with me in the spirits and sometimes manifests it in the physical," he said.

When asked how he came to realize the situation, he made known to have consulted witch doctors who confirmed it.

"I have sought help from spiritual and witch doctors and they have all confirmed that they are the brain behind the torment," he said. 

It is alleged that he caught the boy and pressed his head till he gave up the ghost, upon realizing the boy was lifeless, he hid him under his bed and run to a pastor for safety.

Superintendent Emmanuel Issaka, who's the crime officer confirming the sad incident said "around 11:30 am today, a man by name Kwadwo Amoako reported to us that his 5-year-old son has gone missing.

We issued an extract of announcement for him before he came later and informed us that he's found the boy dead under one of his tenant's bed," Sup Issaka said.

He further revealed that the accused absconded to a nearby town called Diawuoso but he's been arrested and has been kept in the custody of Obuasi central police station pending Autopsy.

The people of Boete are very furious and are asking the police to release the boy so they can deal with him squarely. 

The case is currently under investigations at the Obuasi divisional police command.
