Two students passed on before the commencement of the examination.

The Ghana Education Service in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region recorded a number of 21 pregnant candidates and 12 lactating mothers in the just ended BECE.

The number of students who sat for the 2021 BECE were 3,045 of which 1,464 were girls and 1,581 at 10 centres in the District.

According to the Public Relations Officer for GES in the District Mr Sylvester Ansah, 21 Students were pregnant during the exams, whereas some had also given birth.

16 candidates were absent; 8 boys and 8 girls.  Two students passed on before the commencement of the  examination.
