2023 Elections: Peter Obi Wins Tinubu In Lagos State
Mr Peter Obi has defeated the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos, his home state

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has won the presidential election in Lagos state.
He defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) standard bearer, after the votes were calculated from all the 20 LGAs in the state.
Though Tinubu won more local government areas, Obi defeated him with most of the votes.
All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared. Tinubu won in 11, while Obi won in nine local government areas.
Tinubu is a former Lagos governor and the state is historically his stronghold.
