1000s Of NDC Supporters Call For United Front To Wrestle Lower West Akim Seat From NPP In 2024 Polls
According to them, they have observed with a grace concern about the current ongoing misunderstandings between the leadership of the party in the area in connection of settling on the individual candidates vying to contest the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries, which issue has created division, tension and confusion within the NDC front in the area.

Thousands of concerned supporters of the
National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region have called on national and Eastern Regional Executives of the NDC to, urgently intervene in ensuring that there are peace and unity within the members and executives of the party in the area.
According to them, they have observed with a grace concern about the current ongoing misunderstandings between the leadership of the party in the area in connection of settling on the individual candidates vying to contest the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries, which issue has created division, tension and confusion within the NDC front in the area.
This, they argued that is doing more harm to Lower West Akim NDC as a whole rather than individual personalities being attacked.
Following this development, the supporters of the NDC called for a united front within the party to help wrestle the Lower West Akim parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.
They stated that the current increasing rate of the political character assassinations, sabotaging, and backbiting by some elements of the NDC in the Lower West Akim is not in the best interest of the party, which is seriously preparing to win the seat from the NPP.
They, therefore, urged the few disgruntled members and supporters of the party to bury their differences and join forces with the young Ghanaian entrepreneur, Mr. Kwame Frimpong affectionately called Darling Boy who has been tipped by majority of the members and supporters of the party to win the upcoming NDC parliamentary election to work hard to win Lower West Akim seat for the NDC.
The NDC supporters, who made the call in an interview with Soireenews.com on Saturday April 8, 2023, to respond to some false allegations leveled against their preferred choice parliamentary candidate in the person of Mr Frimpong in the petition by some self seeking elements within the party in the area.
They jumped into the defense of Mr Frimpong and described herself as a developmental-oriented NDC parliamentary hopeful.
They stated that over thousands of young people had benefited from Mr Frimpong educational support, adding that his track records in terms of provisions of health care, education, water, sanitation, hygiene, security, road networks, drainages, social services, investing in human resources, helping PWDs, and farming communities are visibly for all and sundry to see in their implemented communities.
