10 KATH Health Officials Exposed to Covid-19 Patients Test Negative
Statement from the hospital asserts that, its covid-19 patient is currently responding to treatment
The 10 staff of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) who came into contact with the three Covid-19 patients at the facility, have tested negative.
An interoffice memo from the medical director of the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) to all staff said, samples taken from the doctor, seven nurses and two mortuary attendants “came back negative”.

Staff of the hospital were further urged to make judicious use of the personal protective equipment available to them.
The statement added that, out of the three covid-19 cases recorded at the hospital, two have passed on, while the third is currently responding to treatment.
