The Member of Parliament of Kwadaso Constituency, Hon. Dr. Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah has cautioned the New Patriotic Party Executives in the Kwadaso Constituency that their plot to upset his possibility of representing parliament will not blur his visions to become the parliamentarian for the second term.

The MP condemned certain actions within the executives including the organizer and cautioned that, regardless of every effort to derail him from winning the trust of the people to contest for a second term, he is not restrained and will continue to work hard for the development of the Kwadaso electoral area.

“We sat together and decided not to vote on any executive member. Instead of supporting me to victory, they are rather condemning me through the airwaves going from one radio to another,” he said.

“How can an organizer speak ill of this constituency when it is not so all in the name of ruining me. Ever since he was voted on his post, he has refused to stay in Kwadaso and prefers to be in the capital city expecting who to organize the constituency?” he asked.

Hon. Dr. Nuamah made these fascinating disclosures when he submitted his forms at the New Patriotic Party office on Monday, February 11, 2020 at Kwadaso. Whiles addressing his party faithfuls, the Member of Parliament Nuamah who won the constituency primary with 191 of the total votes cast in 2015 retiring the then incumbent, Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Josephine Hilda Addo, a former Member of Parliament made known the frustrations he has stumbled upon whiles warming up for the second term.

“The executives are full of wickedness and thought they were pulling me down. They have now realised whatever plot they effected was towards them. It’s very unfortunate but it’s also my duty together with the coordinators and assembly members to make sure things are fine and we are confident that by the end of April 25, victory would be ours.

“Kwadaso was under the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly but in my term, it is now a Municipality with several employees working for the Assembly. What evidence to they want to see again. The victory we seek is not self-centered success but one that will mount the constituency.

He opined that the forward movement of the Kwadaso Constituency demands certain leaders to be vacated from their duties at the party office to give way to new ideas to help inspire healthier plans for the Municipality.

“We need competent men to administer the party to move Kwadaso forward. These leaders sabotaging me have been in office for 12 and 16 years with no proper plans. They delight in first term administration and keeps changing personnel’s to represent parliament, which is not cooperating,” he revealed.

“You can fool some of the people all the time, you can fool all the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time. Their plans will not be tolerated this time.

“A first timer in Ghana’s parliament is not and cannot do better than he who is already a participant. I want to assure the people to keep pushing me to build Kwadaso together and make it a better place. Together ness will always be a part of my campaign for I know that the opportunity given to lead this land is an act of favor and I will never let you down,” he ended.
