Timo Werner has guaranteed Liverpool of his interest by ruling out a move to any other club, reports Bild.

The forward is a long admirer of the Reds and interest from clubs in Europe’s top division leagues has been halted after making known of Anfied as his destined playing ground, and no where else.

Werner, is reported to be monitored by Bayern Munich and discussions were ongoing about a possible move, an attempt to hijack the Liverpool transaction.

Barcelona were also revealed to be preparing a suitable bid for the player next season to improve their attacking abilities in the upcoming season yet the RB Leipzig striker has no intention of switching allegiances in the Bundesliga and is instead keen to join forces with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Liverpool are known to hold an interest in the 24-year-old Germany international although it remains to be seen whether they will make a move this summer.

Werner has a release clause in the new contract he signed that allows him to leave for just €60million (£50m) in the summer.

Inspite of further delays in getting the deal done as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, talks are still ongoing with the Anfield club and RB Leipzig and if it means that Liverpool has to satisfy the release clause of the German, it is likely a deal could happen.
