Ghanaian radio personality, Mike 2 has demanded that Wendy Shay be quiet when it comes to political issues in Ghana.

According to him, newbies like Wendy Shay should not have an opinion when it comes to the political landscape with regards to the entertainment industry because they cannot possibly know the hidden details of the whole matter.

This comes after Wendy Shay stated that the ruling  New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana has been doing a good job thus far from the creative arts angle.

“The NPP has done a lot of good work and are still doing more in the creative arts industry. If you look at some of the things they have done, even not just the creative arts industry, for example, Free SHS, a lot of people have benefitted from the policy”.

“I have cousins, junior siblings in the country and they have all been beneficiaries of the Free SHS policy. So Nana Addo has done very well” she said.

Wendy Shay also used her appeal to beg the President to lift the ban on Social gatherings and large meetings as it has made it difficult for artists to make money in her dis.

“Nana Addo has done a lot for the creative arts industry. However, what I am expecting from him is that as a result of COVID, many of us have made losses. So I am hoping the President will pay a courtesy call to us and provide us with some financial assistance to cover up for the loss due to the fact that we couldn’t hold concerts”.

Mike 2 is not on the same page with Wendy Shay, per his view, the Rufftown record artiste is only focused on her good review of the NPP.

The OAP has now questioned Wendy Shay on what the President and his government have done for the Creative Arts industry since assuming power.

“New entrants in the industry like Wendy Shay and co whose uncles are directly active in the ruling party should shut up, they should come out and point one thing the party has done for the creative industry…let’s build the industry rather than our favorite political parties..” he barked.
