Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo has revealed that it would be next to impossible to make new movies amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

He explained that the movie industry was not well balanced even before the Coronavirus, the limitations the virus has brought with it has just worsened the terrible situation that the film industry was already in.

The actor pointed out that individuals are required to wear masks to curb the spread of the virus, but you can't act while wearing a mask. He listed other safety protocols that would be impossible to observe when shooting movies.

“It has been very difficult. For me, when I started acting, it was like acting was a pension work”.

“I have been in the media for a very long time. Because acting has been my only profession for some time now, it has been very difficult. The nature of the job is such that we cannot act with nose masks on. If there is a crowd scene, it’s not possible to act.” he admitted while speaking to Nana Romeo Welewele on Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning radio show Ayekoo Ayekoo.

He said that if anyone calls him now to come on any set, he will think twice because, if provisions have not been made to ensure his ow personal safety then he must respectfully decline. "No script is worth any life", he stated, "and everyone has to think carefully about his/her actions going forwards."

The actor is however praying that things will get better because if it doesn't, nothing can move forwards.
