Quique Setien has hinted that Barcelona are still in the title race until the end.

Barcelona welcomes Espanyol to the Camp Nou following their 4-1 win against Villarreal at the El Madrigal last Sunday. A win is necessary if the Catalan club wants to defend their title and earn a 27th La Liga trophy.

The Blaugrana are four points behind Real Madrid who are yet to lose a game since the restart and the manager believe that the competition is not over.

"Of course we can win LaLiga," Setien said during Tuesday's pre-match press conference.

"Reality and the maths prove it.

"It's not easy, but you have to hope until the last day.

"We have to think about ourselves and win every game; see that there is a progression.

"Everything we do must be worthwhile for the next competition [the Champions League]."

Four games remain to be played by each La Liga clubs and Barcelona seem to have found their rhythm. The Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann (MSG) communication was very effective in their last game and the manager expressed accomplishment.

"The feeling you have is that the three have found each other; I think they've found each other before," the coach stated.

"The other day was brilliant because the moves ended in goals.

"I'm not just guided by one game, I think you have to see things in perspective.

"There are many variables in every game. What your opponent proposes also has an influence."

The Los Blancos will also receive Alaves on Friday, July 10, 2020, at the Stadio Alfredo De Stefano.
