Ghanaian musical duo, Keche, has revealed that its members can never break up because they fully understand that each one needs the other to survive.

Arguably the longest serving musical duo on the scene, Andrew and Joshua (the members of the group) have worked together for so long while racking up numerous awards along the way. They have now said, while speaking on Bryt TV, that they don't intend to go their separate ways anytime soon because they will surely go hungry.

Keche believes that its story will not be as successful as it is if its members have split apart over the years.

“I can boldly say Keche is the longest surviving music duo in Ghana. This is because when we have a scuffle, we find ways to solve it amicably without involving a third party which has always worked out. We will go hungry if we separate…our brand is solid and we are going to work hard to keep it strong,” Keche Joshua stated.

Andrew, who is married to their manager, Joana Gyan, explained how he separates business from pleasure by advocating for equality in whatever they decide to do.

“I am a strong believer of the Bible so what I do most is, I pray with my wife before we start the day. We always find ways to please our wives so that they don’t miss us too much when we go out of town for work,”

Keche has been active since 2004. The duo were conferred an honorary title "Global Ambassadors for Peace" by the president of Liberia in 2011. They are known for their popular songs Sokode, Aluguntugui, Daibetes, Pressure.
