"We are Disappointed, Annoyed" - Farke on Norwich loss to Watford

Norwich haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last nine home Premier League games, their longest such run since their first 10 games at Carrow Road in the 2011-12 season. They’ve conceded more than once in seven of those nine games, shipping 22 goals in total.

Norwich City boss, Daniel Farke is disappointed that his team could not pick a point from yesterday’s Premier League game from Watford at the Carrow Road.

Gerard Deulofeu and Andre Gray earned the visitors their first win in the Premier League after 11 games. They become the 91st and final team in the top four tiers of English football this season to win a league match.

Farke articulated annoyance from his side’s display and gave reasons why they shouldn’t have lost the game.

"We are disappointed, annoyed. It was not necessary to lose this game. We dominated possession, had more shots and created more situations. It is a pretty annoying day today.

“My winger cut inside pretty close to our own goal and lost the ball. To concede a goal from this cheers the other guys up. If you start such an important game with such a nursery mistake, it doesn’t help the confidence or the mood.

"In football small details make the difference and this was a game defining moment."

The two sides have traded positions with Watford taken a leap from the buttom of the table.
