American artiste, Beyoncé, has been spotted affectionately giving Shatta Wale a bear hug during the production of her new movie "Black is King".

While giving more insight on the movie In an exclusive trailer for Good Morning America television show, the short clip played across the screen to reveal Beyoncé and Shatta Wale hugging in the background as at 1:09 minutes of the whole interview.

 

 

The visual for the album, which will be premiering tomorrow for the audio album, will be exclusive to Disney+. Although selected African countries will be able to see it later on some of Multichoice's platforms.

Beyonce could be heard saying in the interview that her aim is to shift the global perception of the word "Black" from terror to the original meanings which are love, inspiration, and strength. She called the film;

 "my passion project that I have been filming, researching and editing day and night for the past year".

Black Is King will be released globally to stream on Disney+ on July 31, 2020, and will be aired the following day across Sub-Saharan Africa on M-Net and Canal+ Afrique and across the Middle East and North Africa on OSN.

The movie follows a young African king who is cast out from his family into an unforgiving world. He subsequently undergoes a journey "through betrayal, love, and self-identity" to reclaim his throne, utilizing the guidance of his ancestors and childhood love. The story is told through the voices of present-day Black people.
