Newly crowned Artiste of the Year at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Kuami Eugene, has taken his award to the Chief Imam for more blessings.

The Lynx Entertainment signee was spotted at the residence of the Chief Imam Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu presenting his plague to the cleric and asking for blessings to secure more awards.

He was seen wearing a white shirt while asking for the Imam to pray for him. 

The Imam proceeded to lay his hands on the 'Angela' hitmaker after he had announced his mission and shown off his award.

After the prayer and blessings, Kuami Eugene sat on a seat close to the chief Imam’s and was seen having a conversation with him.

Kuami Eugene was named the Artiste of the Year for the 21st Edition of the VGMA 2020. He beat the likes of Sarkodie, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, and Diana Hamilton to the award. 

Kuami Eugene who resides in Fadama, a suburb of Accra, where the Chief Imam also resides, paid a courtesy call on the top cleric as the custom of anyone in the neighborhood who tastes victory.
