England’s Wembley will host of the 2023 UEFA Champions League.

The announcement was made in today’s Press conference by UEFA's executive Committee.

The Association also confirmed that the 2021 and 2022 Champions League final will be held at the Zenit St. Petersburg and Munich respectively.

The New Wembley is known in the Champions League competition after staging the 2011 challenge when Manchester United were beaten by Barcelona to lift the trophy and the 2013 affair involving Borussia Dortmund loss to Bayern Munchen.

Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey was chosen by the Union of European Football Association to parade the finals of this year’s competition.

Last season’s campaign of the UEFA Champions and Europa League were dominated by English teams. Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspurs in the final at the Wanda Metropolitano in Spain by 2-0 whiles Chelsea conquered Arsenal by 4-1 in Baku.

Before the old Wembley was closed in 2000 it had hosted five European Cup finals, though it never staged a match since the competition was rebranded as the Champions League in 1992.

The 2021 Europa League final was also announced to be held in Seville at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
