Ghanaian Comedian DKB, has reacted to the video of Ghanaian military punishing citizens for flouting the lockdown directives set by the President Akufo-Addo led administration in the fight to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

He said although the people who flouted the order deserved the punishment, he did not see the need for the military enforcing it. He chastised both sides involved, as he asked for the military to show more compassion and for the citizens to learn obedience.

According to DKB, those physically abused deserved it because Ghanaians can be very stubborn sometimes stating that if obedience were observed, there wouldn’t be the need for civilians to be punished ruthlessly.

The President deployed military personnel to enforce the lockdown order as it is imperative that people stay home and away from each other to curb the spread of the global virus that is tearing through multiple countries at the same time without any known cure.
