"This is the DNA of the club, trying to win things" - Zidane

Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane has publicized that winning titles is the drive of Los Blancos and that is just what the return of the season will offer them.

Madrid is second on the Laliga table after losing out to Real Betis, which allowed Barcelona to move two points clear at the top of LaLiga Santander but Zidane insists his team can go for the title.

Madrid has unfinished business at the Etihad in the Champions League after suffering a first-leg home defeat against Manchester City. With 11 matches also left to be fulfilled in Laliga, the Frenchman believes there is the hope of silverware before the close of the season.

"We have 11 matches left and we are going to prepare ourselves to finish the season well, strongly," he told Real Madrid TV.

"In the end, the important thing is to give everything to win something.

"We are here, this is the DNA of the club, trying to win things.

He further provided an update that his team looks much better and there is the need to be focused on positivity.

"This week has been very good because we can work more in small groups. We can do more tactically, physically and technically," he said.

"The team looks better this week and next week will be much better."

"We have to think positively because we are lucky to be back at work, to be here on the pitch and it looks good to me. The players are thinking that now they have to make the most of it, to enjoy it.
