Burniton Music’s female signee OV has make known in an interview that her being as a tomboy does not mean she is a lesbian.

She revealed on Delay show that her dressing in the manner of guys put her in no position as a fondler of boys. She told the host of the program, Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay) that she chose what to wear according to her state of mind within a specific time. 

“From childhood, when my parents brought outfits from abroad, they always fetch fashionable things and I always dress according to my mood. VGMAs I don’t know if you saw me, I was in a gorgeous girlish dress. That day I felt like looking so sexy and everyone was so surprised seeing my looks”

“I can wear heels and walk comfortably in them but it’s not my style and it doesn’t outfit my brand”

 Asked whether she is a tomboy; a girl who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of a boy, OV admitted to being one yet she rebuffed the fact that people relate her in the environs of sexual perversion.

 “Yes, I am a tomboy but Ghanaians definition about Tomboy is very different. They think you are gay or a lesbian but I am straight. I am a tomboy, I have accepted it, my looks, and everything says it. Looking at me now, it plainly shows that I am a tomboy”.

She expressed that her followers should concentrate on her talent and give less attention to her sexuality.

OV is a Ghanaian dancehall artiste who rose to fame after winning MTN Hit maker season 7 in 2018. She is also a signee under Burniton Music, which owns by Stonebwoy.
