Spurs Son Heung-min has won the Goal of the Season award.

The South Korean’s solo strike against Burnley was voted the best in the 2019/2020 season following a 5-0 win at the Spurs stadium on December 7, 2019.

Son's goal topped a nine-goal shortlist that featured each of this season's monthly winners.

The Tottenham Hotspur winger acquired the ball from Spurs penalty area, surged away from a few Burnley players, and skipped past two challenges before slotting beyond Nick Pope

"Son dribbled an incredible 71.4 meters in only 11 seconds, the second-longest distance traveled by a player to score a goal in a Premier League match, behind Andros Townsend for Crystal Palace in 2016/17," the Premier League revealed.

"As soon as I got the ball, I tried to find a pass and I was a bit lucky. I dribbled into the space where no one was,"

"I tried to finish it well because the action before was really quick. I was really focused on my finishing. It was an amazing feeling," Son said of his goal in December.
