Sista Afia has exposed that her fight with Freda Rhymz started because the female rapper called her 'Abrewa' when she offered to speak privately with her.

'Abrewa' which translates to 'old lady' is a derogatory term that means a person is old fashioned, meaning to say that Sista Afia's time is archaic in the music scene clarifying this to disprove the notion that her confrontation with Freda Rhymz had something to do with their ongoing rap battle at the time.

”I got mad when she releases her ‘Point of Correction’ song because she mentioned that I was sleeping with people. If it’s for fun there is a way you go about it but you mentioned my name, ”Sista Afia revealed while talking on UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday evening.

“Freda started it (fight). So I was entering TV3’s premises …When I told my manager I need to speak to Freda as the friend that she used to be with me. And my manager was like no we are not late so let’s go inside right now. She was just like a few meters away from me. She was not that far so anything that she said I could hear. To me she was like, they should allow the old lady to come.

"And it triggered me. So I wanted her to say that in my face. Like she should look me in the eye and say that to me that they should allow the old lady. That was it,” she concluded, in a bid to narrate how the fracas started.

This follows the viral video that was released a week ago where Sista Afia was seen trying to inflict physical damage in Freda Rhymz only to be stopped by the intervention of the people around.

Sista Afia could be heard saying, “Say it in my face, say it in my”, making it seem as if she was upset with some of the ‘punches’ Freda threw at her in their rap battle.

She finally concluded by denying that attacking Rhymez because, for her lyrics which specified that she had sex with Shatta Wale, Medikal and Bisa Kdei was not the issue.
