Ghanaian dancehall phenomena, Shatta Wale will be donating GHC10,000 to the missing Castro's family to support them in their time of need. The act will be Shatta’s own way of paying back the kindness Castro once showed him, as he made known that Castro once bought him food and clothes when he still had nothing back in the day.

The artist paid tribute to Castro, whose birthday was celebrated by fans last week and will be declared legally missing if not found between this year and the next, describing him as a legend and revealing that he often takes his inspiration from "the Destroyer's tracks". He stated that words cannot describe how much he misses his colleague and friend.

 

 

According to the Dancehall King, he fondly remembered a time when Castro got his clothes from a show Castro had attended in America. He said he heard a knock on his door only to find the musician standing there with a polythene bag filled with clothes. Shatta revealed that Castro's gestures towards him begot an admiration for him adding that he and Castro were not close prior to that time.

He explained that Castro always encouraged him to work harder every day and motivated him to grind on.

Wale revealed that he is in talks with other musicians to organize a show in remembrance of Castro.
