The National Democratic Congress(NDC) Vice Presidential candidate, Professor Jane Opoku-Agyemang has praised Shatta Wale for his recent collaboration with Beyoncé.

She took to her Twitter page to congratulate the musician on his achievement.

"Congratulations @shattawalegh, @dwpacademyworld & all those involved in the great collabo with @Beyonce. Congratulations also to @blitzambassador who was a director for the film. You have all raised high the flag of Ghana. Keep up the good work & you will go higher. God Bless!" She wrote.

Shatta Wale, who is currently the toast of all Ghanaians after his music video with Beyoncé was released, is being actively courted by both the NDC and NPP.

The parties recognize that the artiste is the hottest thing in Ghana and acquiring his support whether actively or passively will have a massive effect on the outcome of the forthcoming elections.

Yesterday, Shatta Wale lauded the NPP Government for helping him travel to meet Beyoncé secretly during the period of the video shoot. He stated that although he was not outrightly supporting them, he cannot help but give honor to whom honor is due.

It would be recalled that the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, also praised him for the collaboration.

“@shattawalegh, you do all!!! #KingAlready #BlackIsKing,” the President tweeted.

Shatta Wale in turn replied that he would cherish the president's praise for years, subtly implying that he is leaning over to his side in the elections.
