Ghana's best rapper, Sarkodie, has accepted to battle with arguably Nigeria's best rapper, M.I Abaga for a prize money worth $200,000. 

Sarkodie had earlier highlighted the importance of the survival of proper entertainment during the Coronavirus pandemic, as he said that entertainment can help boost the spirits of Ghanaian and help improve the survival rates from the pandemic. 

He is now set to deliver a clash of the titans act with his Nigerian colleague. On the back of dropping his spit-fire diss track "Sub Zero" which took on the likes of Shatta Wale and Asem, he has now set up a rap battle with Nigeria's M.I. to continue entertaining his fans. 

In a recent Instagram live video between Sarkodieand Ubi Franklin, a Nigerian artist manager and founder of Made Men Music group, they discussed matters concerning their careers and other related issues.

In the course of the discussion, Ubi then asked Sarkodie if he would be interested in engaging in a $200,000 rap battle with Nigeria’s M.I Abaga.

He stated that anyone who wants a clash between them to happen should be ready cough out $200,000. MI Abaga commented on the video interview expressing his interest to have a battle with Sarkodie. Few seconds later after his declaration, Nigerian musician KCee joined the live feed and promised to drop $100,000 out of the $200,000 just to see Sarkodie battle it out with MI.

In response, Sarkodie gleefully accepted the challenge without hesitation. Upon hearing this, M.I couldn’t resist as he zoomed into the conversation and embraced the challenge.Meanwhile, a date is yet to be slated for the fierce contest between the two celebrated artistes.
