Shatta Wale has stated that Sarkodie played an instrumental role in the success he has achieved today by helping him come to the limelight. 

He said that he used to perform in lowdown stages before he was given a big stage to perform by the rap king. 

Shatta Wale has been in the music industry for a while, initially known as "Bandana" before reforming his image to the now widely known "Shatta Wale". He went incognito from 2003 to 2011 while still making different hits in the industry.

Pertaining to the ongoing beef between him and Sarkodie, fans have now dig out an old video where Shatta Wale was seen stating Sarkodie role in his success. 

He stated that Sarkodie gave him the biggest show after his comeback, as he used to perform on stages made with Sapele wood after his comeback until Sarkodie invited him to perform at his annual concert, Rapperholic for the first time.

 

 

According to Shatta, performing at Rapperholic was a dream come true for him and it was not until then that he started coming up and the name Shatta Wale became solid with a movement attached to it.

Fans have now dig up the video to remind Shatta Wale to be humble and not forget his roots and how the man he has been beefing for the past months has been very instrumental to the man that he is today.
