Sarkodie has finally featured Kuami Eugene officially on his new track called "Happy a day" which is to drop on Sunday.

The pair were reported to be at loggerheads after Kuami Eugene won an Award that Sarkodie was widely reported to have clinched.

Kuami Eugene revealed that the Sarkodie did not call him to congratulate him after he defeated him at the awards, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in the highly contested Artiste of the Year category.

He speculated that the rap god might have not been happy that a "small boy" like him defeated him.

“I wasn’t expecting Sarkodie to call me because maybe he respects his space so much not to call a young boy like me to say ‘Kuami, congratulations’.

“Maybe its because he was part of that category and he has his own thoughts and mindset about this whole thing. Even if calls and says ‘congratulations to Kuami’, I would say ‘thank you so much’ and be super happy because it is Sarkodie.

“But then again, it is not by force. It is not by force for Sarkodie to call to congratulate me just to make amends for what people might be saying. I am not saying Sarkodie should forcefully congratulate me.

“He is not obligated to do that".

This immediately sparked rumours that the pair had started a low-key beef.

The rumours were however slightly squashed when both artistes featured on DJ Mensah's  'Beifour' track.

Sarkodie has now put officially put the rumours to bed when he announced a feature with Kuami Eugene on his "Happy Day" track which he put out on the 28th of October, 2020, on his Twitter page.
