Sancho's transfer far from over

The player could be forced to tender a transfer request if Dortmund refuses to accept United's bid.

Jadon Sancho is reported not to have agreed personal terms with Manchester United as suggested.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, talks are ongoing between Sancho’s reps and the Red Devils if a deal can be reached.

Although the deal according to Michael Zorc is off assuring Dortmund fans that the 21-year old winger will stay at the Signal Iduna next season, yet the transfer is far from over with the window set to close on October 5, 2020.

Sancho is still United’s number one target and things might turn sour if the Bundesliga club, in the long run, refuses to accept the Premier League club’s bid for the youngster – a decision which might force Sancho to push for a move by passing a transfer request.

"Manchester United remain quite relaxed on their part,” Sheth reported.

“Their position has not changed, he remains their number one target this summer and they feel like any deadlines imposed by Dortmund is a little bit artificial and the transfer window doesn’t close until October 5. Furthermore, the €120m valuation is far too high in the current climate.

"There have been a few reports on social media from respected journalists saying that Sancho has agreed personal terms with Manchester United. I’m told this is simply not the case but talks are ongoing between Sancho’s representatives and Manchester United.

"Something tells me this is not over by a long shot."
