Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee member, Samuel Osei Kufuor has taken over Kumasi based King Faisal Football Club.

The Club was promoted into the Ghana Premier League by Congress a week. Owner and Bankroller, Alhaji Karim Grunsah admitted to let go of his asset after facing tougher financial burdens.

''I'm ready to release King Faisal outright to any investor but my only plea to any potential buyer will be that he shouldn't rename the club just in honouring me,'' he said in an interview.
