Bukayo is the first teenager to hit double figures in a single season for us since Cesc Fabregas in 2006/07.

Bukayo Saka has agreed has committed to staying at the Emirates after signing a long term deal with the club, Arsenal confirmed on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

The English International has made 37 appearances for the Gunners since his debut in Arsenal’s Europa League two seasons ago. The 18-year-old has been with Arsenal since the age of eight and has came through the ranks at our Hale End academy.

 

 

Bukayo made his Premier League debut at the age of 17 in a 4–1 win against Fulham last season. He scored his first senior goal in a 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in September last year.

Saka was linked with Liverpool in the summer after he was identified to be a backup for Sadio Mane.

He has been a key part of Arteta’s project and the manager revealed delight for his long term commitment.

“Bukayo is a talented and intelligent young player,” he praised.

“He has impressed me with his work ethic and attitude to learn and adapt, and it has paid off in his performances.
