The Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP. Kwaku Buah has cautioned Ghanaians to abide by the preventive measures of COVID-19 and quit treating the virus as a joke.

According to ACP Kwaku Boah, the attitude of ignorance must be done away in such a time to help curb the novel coronavirus in the country.

He pleaded to the media to inform and educate the people on the dangers and precautionary actions of COVID-19 to enable citizens abide by the enforced laws.

“They are treating coronavirus as a joke, Some people come to town for no reason. We have taken the disease as a joke and are not scarred of the danger it poses. People are dying in other countries yet our people are behaving as if everything is normal.

“If you have nothing doing, don’t come. Stay at home for safety sake,” he said.
