Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has made known that she has been threatened by a random National Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter over her recent comments concerning the party.

She revealed the identity of the said man on her Facebook page and asked if a meeting could be set up with him to settle their differences. This comes off the back of her recent scathing remarks concerning the prominent parties in Ghana.

Lydia Forson stated that the man threatened to deal with her personally for uploading what she regarded as nonsense on her social media pages.

She had earlier expressed her disappointment at the government’s decision to charge $150 for COVID-19 testing for Ghanaian passengers traveling to Ghana.

“Why are people having to pay $150 for another test at the airport, when they’re already required to test 72hrs before departure and show a certificate before boarding?!! My comrades from 2014-2016 where are you? Wake up, it’s time to start speaking up ?!! There’s too much we can’t be quiet about anymore!!!I’ve had to be careful about the things I say for so long because of things I’ve suffered silently, but come on is GHANA not for all of us?! !” she said.

While many Ghanaians seemed to agree with her view, the NPP supported took it personal threatened to deal with her.

In response to the threat, Lydia Forson uploaded the picture of the individual and asked if she could meet it openly to discuss his grievances.

“Please whose family member is this? He says he will make sure I don’t get away with the “shit” I post. Who’s willing to help us meet so he shows me exactly how”,
