Osofo Dadzie has been confirmed dead.

The Veteran Ghanaian actor’s demise was confirmed on Monday, August 10, 2020, by actor and politician, Mr. Beautiful on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment Show’.

Clement Bonney, who has been discharged from acting for political reasons revealed on the show hosted bt Halifax Ansah Addo that he paid a visit to the former content creator with co-actor, Kohwe in the month of July.

He is best known by his Osofo Dadzie group which was initially a concert party known as the S. K. Oppong Drama Group.

They toured rural areas of Ghana where they performed. Their first breakthrough when they were recruited to perform alongside the African Brothers Band led by Nana Kwame Ampadu.

Osofo Dadzie was a very popular group and had many performances around the country. Its plots often centered on social criticism with the support of the Ghana government. The leader of the group was S. K. Oppong.

He died at the age of 89 having played a key role in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
