Ghanaian artiste, Freda Rhymz has shed new light on her beef with Ohemaa Dadao, following Ohema's claim that Freda is an "opportunistic dog" who looks up to her.

Freda Rhymz has emphatically stated again that she does not look up to Ohemaa Dadao.

It all started when Freda Rhymz denied that she didn't even know that there was a female rapper in Ghana with the name 'Ohema Dadao' on the ZionFelix 'Uncut' show. Freda claimed that she thought Ohemaa Dadao was a retired artiste and not an active one in the industry during the interview.

Ohemaa Dadao was quick to lash out at Freda for what she claimed were lies. She stated that she was the one who introduced Freda Rhymz to the music scene; the one who taught her the ropes. She then proceeded to release a private chat between herself and Freda where the latter could be seen idolizing her.

Freda Rhymz, who initially denied that she was the one behind the messages, has now admitted that although her management might have been sending them.

“We went to Kumasi and I saw her I said ‘Hii’. I want to clear the air that I never followed her. She is not my friend. She is not my role model. I don’t want to be like her and so why would I follow her?” she said.

“You know the people that I used to work with, Hashtag. Way back they were the ones that were managing my account. I think they knew about her; I hadn’t heard about her and they told me that there is this person. So, they used my handle.” She said.

She then further said that she was not interested in narrating the whole matter over again.

“I followed people around to learn how they performed on stage and all that but it wasn’t her. We just met, I think; I went to support a friend to perform at Repor Hall week, and this was like five years ago. Because my management had told me about her then they used my Instagram to send her a DM.”

“Why would I want to concentrate on something that is irrelevant. What is most important right now is the song I have out and that’s what I’m trying to promote.”
