The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will on August 22, launch of its manifesto ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The NPP General Secretary, Mr John Boadu made the announcement, during a press conference in Accra today, August 10, on the just ended mass voter registration exercise.

Mr Boadu said a draft of the manifesto will be presented to the party's council of elders before the launch.

He disclosed that, drafting of the manifesto, was supervised by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia

According to the manifesto contained important policies that will help transform Ghana's development.

The NPP’s biggest opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC) on July 1, presented a copy of its manifesto to the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

Mahama upon receiving the document which he describes as the ‘people’s manifesto’ said it “will represent the NDC and my social contract with the good people of Ghana”
