The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the Akufo-Addo led governement  has achieved 80 percent of promises made during their 3-year stay in government.

Dr Bawumia who was  speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch at the University of Cape Coast in the Central region, said they have over 300 achievements since they assumed power in 2017.

He promised that, when given the mandate, the NPP government will do more to foster the progress of the country.

“We have chocked success in our 3 years in power. We have over 300 achivements in three years. So when you read our manifesto you will see we have fulfiled at least 80 percent of our promises and that is massive for any government in just 3 years. Sector by sector you will realised we have performed much much better than the NDC government.

Dr Bawumia also announced at the launch that the NPP will roll out a policy that will see tertiary students access students loans without a guarantor.

He says many students have either dropped out or fail to gain entry to tertiary institutions due to affordability and that is what the NPP aims at erasing.

He added that when a student accesses the loan and completes school, repayment will be deferred, students will get one year grace period before they start paying.

Dr Bawumia said Ghanaians should go to the polls and vote for the NPP for another four years because they have a better future for Ghanaians.
