Former Everton manager, Marco Silva has hinted that he would like a return to the Premier League to revive his career.

The Portuguese was sacked after 18 months with the club having been humiliated by Liverpool in the Merseyside derby in a 5-2 thriller. He took charge in May 2018, won 24 and lost 24 of his 60 games.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the 42-year old expressed his love for the English League and veiled that although he has interests in other leagues yet his preferred destination is the Premier League.

Silva has so far managed three clubs in the PL, Hull City, Watford, and the former, Everton.

"We have many things to keep proving in the Premier League and it is something I'm looking for in my future. I don't know if it will be soon or not, but of course, it's my aim.

"I am preparing for the right one. That doesn't mean it has to just be in the Premier League. I have targets to manage in different leagues as well. I am not desperate to go for anywhere."
