Barima Sidney

Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Barima Sidney has officially suspended the release of the video to his 'Papa No' track.

The artiste had earlier claimed that the NDC individuals will not intimidate him into sweeping his song under the carpet while speaking with Class News' Nasaria Abdul Rahman after it was discovered that a private individual identified as Abdul Ganiu had asked an Accra High Court to restrain Ghanaian Hiplife musician Barima Sidney from releasing the latest music video.

The artiste had been legally attacked over his "Papa No" track because supporters of the NDC felt it was a plot against Ex-President John Mahama to soil his name.

Abdul had sought an order for an "interlocutory injunction" to be placed on the video for the controversial nature of the song.

The injunction will now restrain the defendants (Sidney Oppong Ofori and his Squadie Entertainment) from releasing the said video to various media outlets.

The injunction will also restrain the premiere or promotion of the video.
