NDC is full of wicked and mean people concerned about self and families - Hajia Samira Bawumia

Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia has called on Women in the Ashanti Region and Ghana as a whole to arise and uphold what is in store for their children in the coming years by voting massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to continue implementing innovative decision for Ghana’s progress.

According to her, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is fueled by ‘wicked and mean’ leaders who care less about the prosperity of Ghanaians hence their doubts in the policies of the NPP in 2016, yet after testifying to its fulfilment, still want to find a way to crush them.

She warned that no woman must be prevented by fear and panic to vote on December 7 since any slide could give the NDC a chance to thwart the dreams of their future.

“This election is aimed at fulfilling the future of our children for Ghana’s development,” she reminded.

“We will be voting for someone with visions who attends to the welfare of the people with a vision. Whiles, we were campaigning in 2016, the incompetent NDC challenged and distrusted all our plans for the people. Here we are having made happen majority of the promises we made,” she said.

Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia is on a 5-day tour in the Ashanti Region and on Wednesday, November 26, 2020, visited the Kumasi Kejetia to speak to traders on the necessity of partaking in the elections and voting for Nana Addo to retain his seat to do more for Ghanaians.

She enlightened that NDC have no competence in country administration after afflicting the lives of businessmen and women through five years of ‘Dumsor’ which collapsed lots of Ghanaian trades and winded off capitals of sellers whiles in power. Hajia Samira Bawumia revisited the achievement of the NPP in the space of four years and cautioned the gathering never to make a mistake to reelect John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to power.

“NDC full of mean and wicked people. They have no clue as to how to administer a country yet they expect the country to be handed to them. Imagine how they heavily taxed ‘kayayoo’ people who struggle to make a living by carrying loads showing them no compassion.

“In fact, I say again, they are mean and wicked. They cancelled training allowance for nurses, denied University graduates job, collapsed businesses through Dumsor and caused a mess only to be saved by the Nana Akufo Addo administration.

“In the space of less than four years, we have achieved a lot of things we promised. To the Glory of God what we have achieved is greater than all. Have faith in the NPP and support us at all time. We have experts who know best in their jobs.

“Everyone is hailing President Akufo Addo and we know very well that, the NPP is the only part to move the country forward. NDC has nothing to offer Ghanaians after their eight years of ruin. We want to serve Ghana so women, rise up and let’s empower the NPP to implement more policies for the welfare of our children through better voting,” she added.

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Mayor, Honourable Osei Assibey Antwi accounted the efforts of government towards helping to better the lives of traders and advised them not to be swayed by the NDC’s constant reminders of building the Kejetia Market.

He informed that had he not been chosen by the government to oversee the day to day running of the Metropolis including attending to the petitions of the market women, trade wouldn’t have flourished in the Kejetia market as it is today. He reminded that the second phase of the market has got facilities better than the current one when done therefore, retaining Nana Addo on December 7 will play a key role in is completion.

He cautioned that if traders want to access the Central Market by next year, they should vote for the NPP government else a change of power could keep the project stranded for years which could affect commerce in the Region.
