The Nation Builders Corp Trainees Association of Ghana (NABTAG) have with thoughtfulness proposed to purchase a presidential form and assist in the payment of filing fees for the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for his resourcefulness in establishing the Nation Builders Corp (NABCO).
Nana Akufo-Addo invented NABCO as part of his flagship programmes to address graduate unemployment crises which elevated Ghana’s rate of redundancy. Its introduction have seen thousands of NABCO trainees lives transformed through postings in the service of delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection.
With next year’s polls pending, the New Patriotic Party as part of its constitutional mandate have chosen to hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on April 25 next year.

According to the ‘NABTAGCOMTEAM’ in a statement towards NABCO trainees, their act to pick a presidential form (GHC 20,000) and support in the payment of the filing fees (GHC 200,000) is a gesture to register their heartfelt appreciation to the president.
“We wish to inform you that posterior the reception of the suggestion raised on the various NABCO/NABTAG platforms in connection with this voluntary act of gratitude to the president, NABTAG has received several emails and calls from trainees, which were all directed at responding positively to the voluntary call (to purchase a presidential form and help in the payment of the filing fees for the president, Nana Addo, the first Nation Builder),” the statement said.
The statement further revealed that the payment would be executed in a proposed manner with no intention to "outsmart anyone to pocket the proceeds that will be generated from this initiative.”
“We wish to reiterate that the contribution shall be made in a voluntary manner, however, it should be placed at the deep end of our memories that our ability to do this effectively will create a positive mark of reverence for NABCO trainees,” it added.

A VOLUNTARY DECISION TO PURCHASE A PRESIDENTIAL FORM AND HELP IN THE PAYMENT OF FILING FEES FOR THE PRESIDENT, H. E. NANA ADDO, THE FIRST NATION BUILDER, AS A SYMBOLIC GESTURE OF OUR APPRECIATION FOR NABCO.

NABCO trainees are hereby informed that, in connection with a thoughtful suggestion raised by one of our fellow trainee to purchase a presidential form and help with the payment of filing fees for the president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, as a symbolic gesture of our appreciation to him for provisioning us with NABCO, the executive committee of NABTAG has, after several diagnosis, bought holistically into the idea and seeks to subject to further consideration. NABTAG has scheduled a meeting to be convened by the committee - to conduct a critical analysis into the pros and cons of this gesture ideation.
We wish to inform you that posterior the reception of the suggestion raised on the various NABCO/NABTAG platforms in connection with this voluntary act of gratitude to the president, NABTAG has received several emails and calls from trainees, which were all directed at responding positively to the voluntary call (to purchase a presidential form and help in the payment of the filing fees for the president, Nana Addo, the first Nation Builder). The face value of this initiative must resonate with all, without any course of disapproval, looking at the noble quality it carries to iconically register our heartfelt appreciation to the president.
The presidential form (GHC 20,000) and the filing fees (GHC 200,000) together constitute an amount of GHC 220,000.
Considering the astronomical number of NABCO beneficiaries nationwide, this amount can be met if we come together and agree on a certain amount to be contributed individually by trainees nationwide.
The NABTAG committee shall come out with the monetary contribution plan after its meeting. Meanwhile, NABTAG seeks to have a central point for collection which shall be controlled directly by the MTN MoMo account system.
We wish to reiterate that the contribution shall be made in a voluntary manner, however, it should be placed at the deep end of our memories that our ability to do this effectively will create a positive mark of reverence for NABCO trainees. We believe the president and his cabinet ministers will be happy to know that we appreciate their effort. If for nothing, their caring heart in reaching us with NABCO, a scheme that has removed our despondencies effected by unemployment.
DISCLAIMER: NABTAG does not intend to outsmart anyone to pocket the proceeds that will be generated from this initiative. The stakeholders shall be informed formally to give rise to openness.
However, the Secretariat, Regional Monitors, and Coordinators have no influence on this initiative; the decision is taken solely by the trainees to show appreciation. On this note, no one should attack the Secretariat or any District Coordinator on the back of this agenda.
