MzVee and Lynx Entertainment Division defined on the Grounds of 'Mutual Termination'

Lynx Entertainment and MzVee has parted ways after eight years of an incredible musical journey.

A statement released by MzVee has confirmed the separation, remarked by both parties as a ‘mutual termination’. The ‘Come and See My Mother’ hit maker took a sabbatical leave from active music which generated lots of rumors about her absence from the scene. Speculations were directed towards the Lynx signee but the release signed by MzVee has detailed that she has been out because she wanted to ‘re-energize, get in touch with self and redefine artistic expression' in a way that allows her to give her fans the best.

Lynx Entertainment has been the pillar of Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda (MzVee) and has released hit singles such as 'Good Girls Gone Bad' and 'Gyani Gyani' before splitting at the end of 2013 due to educational commitments of the young group members. Under the said brand, MzVee relaunched her solo career with song like ‘Borkor Borkor’ and ‘Natural Girl’. She won the "Unsung Artiste Award" in 2014 and earned 7 nominations at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards including 'Album of the Year' and 'Record of the Year'.

“Both parties have amicably consented with the continuous support for each other to part ways moving forward,” she wrote.

The Afro Pop artiste has therefore communicated that all bookings and business enquiries should be passed on through her official channels and has sincerely thanked Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Ghana Limited and the entire management for the 'better foundation and launch pad for her career'.

Lynx also have released a statement to authenticate the contract termination. The announcement is in accordance with MzVee’s with the interpretation that the split is as a result of a personal time for the said artiste. They assured fans of a continuous support and thanked Vera for the hard work and dedication throughout their epic journey together.
