The flagbearer of Liberty Party of Ghana (LPG) Percival Kofi Akpaloo has defined that his eight spot on the ballot paper indicates a new era of accountable and innovative governance to transform the country when he is voted as president on December 7, 2020.

“Make sure to vote for me during December 7,” he said.

“I am eight on the ballot paper and the number eight means two terms of governance for me. It’s a prophetic and angelic number which means new beginning,” he added.

Akpaloo was on a one-day campaign tour in the capital of the Ashanti Region with his running mate Margaret O’Brian Sarfo when he revealed his vision towards his party faithful at the Ash Town Park.

He addressed his willingness to fertilize the Ghanaian economy to the extent that children and the youth would receive social security payment.

“When I become President, children will receive monies as child benefits to better their future. Every kid would be paid c200 cedis from my government. So you can calculate the number of your children and know the amount you’ll receive when you vote for me to be president.

“Unemployed youth who are below 18 years will also be subjected to c400 cedis every 30 days. We want to empower people to invest much in trade to enable others lend a helping hand to wipe out unemployment.

We also want to assure people willing to learn a trade that when we are voted to power, I will make sure to pay their cost money to enable them to become better trainees for Ghana.”

Margaret O’Brian Sarfo uttered that women empowerment is key in their manifesto for the reason that when the female gender is financially sound, it affects nation-building. The University education would be free and we do everything possible to better senior High School schooling.

She urged all not to be filled with fear and panic but to go in numbers and vote for Mr Akpaloo.
