Sista Afia has stated that her new song is not a diss track aimed at any of her colleagues contrary to popular belief. She has come out to refute claims from the media that her new "WMT" song was a track aimed at "putting all her competitors in place". 

She said the song is about empowering women to speak up and not to attack themselves, especially one another's personalities. She stated that the title "WMT" is not a vulgar title but a peaceable title that stands for Women Must Talk. 

Sista Afia released a video to deny the claims that her song was a diss track that was particularly aimed at Sister Derby, the former girlfriend of Medikal. She said that it would be ironic for her to purpose her song at her fellow ladies if the aim of the song was for them to stop fighting among each other.

WMT is a rap song which is a different genre to what she has been known to sing over the years. In the song she addresses various issues going on in the entertainment industry especially with regards to her female colleagues. 

She spoke on various ongoing that have been happening by the celebrities in the country and the need for them to change from their current ways. She spoke especially about Sister Derby's move to record diss songs because her ex, Medikal does not give her the attention she seeks.
