Musician Bigail narrates how robbers took everything in her house last month

Ghanaian artiste, Abigail, has narrated her terrible ordeal with thieves early last month.

According to her, in the incident which occurred Sunday, June 7, 2020, at her apartment at Santeo, East Legon Hills, Accra in her absence, the robbers took every single thing that was inside leaving her with nothing to her name.

Cloths, bags, shoes, laptops, TV sets, home theatre, sofa, mattress, kitchenware, and other stuff were stolen from Bigail.

The artiste narrated that she stepped out of a fully furnished home around 11 am only to come back in the evening to a robbery stricken ghost house.

“I met a crowd in front of my house who shared what had happened in my absence,” she started.

“According to eyewitnesses, they saw a cargo van parked in front of my house. They [robbers] packed the stuff as if someone was moving from the house.”

She stated that according to the reports that she got, the robbers were about four in number; three who moved her stuff and one who held her neighbors at gunpoint.

“About four of them came to my house and were armed. Eyewitnesses initially thought someone was relocating.”

“But someone who sensed something fishy sounded the alarm which caused the armed robbers to escape. They fired gunshots when the alarm was sounded.”

The dejected singer has said that due to the event she's now squatting with a friend and in dire need of financial assistance to restart her life.
