21-year old Priscilla Blessing Twum was kidnapped at Kansaworodo, 18-year Ruth Love Quayeson was abducted at the Butumegyadu Junction on December 4 and Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 15 years was captured near the Nkroful Junction on December 4 last year.

The Head of Public Affairs Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID, issued out a statement on Friday, 2 August, 2019 evening through Ms. Juliana Obeng; Deputy Superintendent of Police that the human remains would be sent to forensic science laboratory of the Ghana Police Service for investigations.

The Criminal Investigations Department revealed that they in no way surrendered in the search for the missing girls since they took over the case. The pursuit for the girls rendering from the CID, took a crack team from Ghana to Nigeria-Calabar, Port Harcourt, Onitsha in Anambra State and Rivers State to track Samuel Udoetuk-Wills information on where the girls were held.

The assistance of the Nigerian Police according to the source proved futile therefore the team had to return to Ghana to Kasoa, Koforidua, Swedru and almost al the suburbs of Takoradi with the suspect claiming that the girls were there.

Per the source reportage, the suspect claimed in the presence of the Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana at the office of the CID boss that he gave the girls to two accomplices; John and Chika who took the girls by road to Nigeria to sell them into slavery. CID source confirmed that John, one of the accomplice was later arrested in Togo but he denied any knowledge of the girls.

The second, Chika was arrested in Nigeria and a WhatsApp chat between Samuel Willis and Chika revealed that, he (Willis) told Chika that he now kills for money and asked Chika whether he could do same and he agreed. The police at the point of having a knowledge of the message and a revision of one of the investigators remembrance of handling a similar abduction case involving another Nigerian suspect eight years ago where the victim’s remains were discovered in a manhole had the thought that the girls were killed therefore they shifted their orientation of investigation and started looking for clues, which led to the discovery of the bodies in the cesspit.

A thorough search in the room of Willis revealed a scarf, blood stained-panties, ropes and other exhibits, which pointed to the fact that female personalities have been murdered in the room.

John Orji was arrested at the Aflao border.
