Harry Maguire has deleted his congratulatory tweet to Manchester United after the side drew level against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League.

The Red Devils are winless in ten successive away matches (L6) in all competitions for the first time since February to September 1989 (11 matches) after the side failed to register a shot on target on Thursday.

Maguire was rested for the match as Solskjaer made several changes to his side following the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Monday. After the match, Solskjaer says he was ‘pleased’ with his side’s performance and claimed there were ‘big pluses’ to take from the result.

Maguire also appeared to be buoyed by the draw as he posted on Twitter: ‘A point away from home. Thanks for the support. See you Sunday @ManUtd’.

The message was met with fury from the Red Devils fans after they met the record signing tweet with irritation.

According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the game against Alkmaar was frustrating after the hard work the boys put in. He assured fans to endure the tough moments for the results will soon favor them.

‘I just couldn’t believe what I saw,’

‘Same as [the game against] Arsenal. You know, the handball, when it should have been 2-0.

‘It’s just frustrating for us now, not getting these little things because the boys deserved so much more and that’s what I feel for them.

‘It’s going to turn at one point, they’ll get those decisions and then they’ll get the results they deserve.’

Manchester United will play Newcastle on Sunday at the St. James Park.
