The Chilean has joined Inter on a free transfer as he signs a three-year contract for the Serie A side.

Inter Milan have signed Manchester United player, Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer.

The Chilean has penned a three-year contract with the Nerazzurri after his loan move from the Red Devils ended scoring four goals in 29 appearances.

“Everyone at Manchester United wishes Alexis Sanchez all the best in his future career as he joins Inter Milan on a permanent transfer,” United confirmed via its website.

Sanchez was the first Chilean to play competitively for the Premier League club having moved from Arsenal two season ago with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the opposite way.

He scored five goals in 45 appearances for the Reds.

The 31-year old joins former United forward, Romelu Lukaku and Ashely Young as they helped secure a Champions League place for Antonio Conte’s side after settling on the second spot with a point separating them and Juventus.
