Liverpool have reached an agreement with Watford over Ismaila Sarr, France Football reports.

The Reds have been potent in the closing stages of the transfer window bringing in Thiago Alcantara from Bayern and Diogo Jota from Wolves in a 70m deal.

The Watford winger was earlier linked to the Reds as the Daily Mirror earlier reported that the Premier League champions are ready to match the Hornet’s £40m asking price of the player to make the deal happen.

Sarr is Watford’s £30m record signing from Rennes who scored five and provided eight assists in his 28 match outing in the Premier League before they were relegated.

Following the signing of Diogo Jota, Liverpool fans believe that the chapter for player transfers has been closed yet, reports from France reveals that the Reds are sealing a £32m to £36m deal for Sarr, who could link-up with international teammate Sadio Mane at Anfield.
