His five years stay with the Reds has seen an immense return to elite football having won the Champions League, Super Cup, Club World cup, and the recent Premier League trophy.

The Reds were gloriously crowned as Champions of the Premier League at the Kop end at Anfield on Wednesday night after a remarkable 5-3 win against Chelsea at Anfield.

In an interview with sky sports after the trophy presentation. Jurgen affirmed his achievement and promised to get a photo, something he’s not used to.

"We are champions - it's the truth. We won four trophies, big ones. I couldn't be prouder. Usually I don't need pictures with something, but I will have a picture with all four trophies, it doesn't happen too often.”

Liverpool have stretched the Premier League lead to 99, with 18-point difference separating them and former champions, Manchester City.

They will play Newcastle United on Sunday, July 26 at the St James Park and are on course to rack 99 points to outdo last season’s 97. Captain of the side, Jordan Henderson addressed that entering into the season after a disappointing end was to prove their worth.

“To get 97 points last year and not win was hard to take. We reacted a few weeks later, won the Champions League, and then started the season a few weeks later with unfinished business. It’s been an amazing season and I am so thankful to be part of this club and team that has won the Premier League after 30 years.”
