Lord Inusah Lansah, known by many as Kennedy Agyapong’s boy has counseled delegates of the New Patriotic Party, Tafo-Pankrono to consider the allegiance of parliamentary aspirants in the constituency before giving out mandate in the impending parliamentary primaries.

The former Ash FM morning show host condemned bribery talks by aspirants towards delegates and cautioned that such people are not able to meet the petitions of residents seeing that they are not committed to the course of the party and are in pursuit of power for the sake of their selfish ambitions.

“My appeal to the delegates who have been given the power to choose a representative for the constituency is that, if anyone picks and files his nomination, measures to put in place before a candidate can be selected is their dedication towards the party and commitment in the previous years,” he said.

“If you (aspirants) were nowhere to be found during the time of endurance and did not labor for the party’s victory in the time of tension, then this is not the time to fight for positions.

“We are enjoying the power in governance because others fought, invested their monies and dedicated their lives for the party’s welfare,’ he added.

Lord Inusah is one of the five contenders hoping to win the Parliamentary seat at Tafo-Pankrono in the upcoming primaries on April 25, 2020. He filed his nomination forms on Thursday, February 19, 2020 at the party office and addressed agents not to be deceived by the doughs given to them as a gift for favors but enquire about the history of such with the party.

“If someone is willing to bribe delegates with money, enquire about what he or she will gain when he is chosen to be the Member of Parliament,” he pleaded.

“The truth be told, there are a lot of gains when we win power that is why I am entreating you to hand me that mandate to convert it to your benefit and the entire party members.

Asked on his chances of winning, Kennedy Agyapong’s boy turned down the question and defined the role he has played in the party since 2005. He called on the delegates to grant him the privilege to satisfy the ambition of the constituency and make Tafo-Pankrono a better place to live.

“My chances of winning the primaries lies in the hands of God. Every political party and its directives must be grounded on aspirant’s commitment.

“There should not be a situation where a vacant position will be given to people who have no clue about the party affairs whiles others who functioned very effective in helping to progress the party are left unattended,” he addressed

“Lord is not a stranger in this party. I have been in the party since 2005 and was a witnessed to the previous elections. God gave us the change in 2016 and my mission is to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of delegates and inhabitants of Tafo-Pankrono.”
