Omoniyi Temitayo Raphael popularly known as Zlatan ibile is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, Rapper and Dancer

Zlatan-ibile rose to prominence following his release of Jogor featuring Naira Marley and Lil kesh after which he had a collaboration with Chinko Ekun and Lil Kesh on the hit single Able God. 

Shortly afterwards, he dropped "Zanku", a song that was accompanied by a dance routine of the same name.

Zlatan-ibile has won 5 different awards and also had several nominations.

Meanhile, the crooner of 'Yeye Boyfriend' has finally reveals Why he loves the slang “Kapaichumarimarichupaco”, which he has used and still using in every of his song and songs featured in, he said it’s a slang he came up with the day he won the Airtel sponsored “One Mic Campus Tour” music competition. 

He said, “this is a slang i can never stop saying, it’s part of me, i get super inspired whenever i say that, i derive so much joy in it each time i say that.

Sharing his story before fame, the street pop act took to his Twitter page to reveal that he did some menial jobs before he became the super star singer that he is today.

According to him, he was a bricklayer, cut grass for people and worked in a cold room at 10 thousand naira per month.

Sharing a photo of his first car which he won from a talent hunt at the age of 19, Zlatan wrote:

Zlatan Ibile “Before I won this car, I do bricklayer, cut grass for people land to lay foundation, I work for cold-room for ikorodu isawo! 10k per month! I do too many many. But I thank God for my life today.”

Zlatan Ibile since rising to fame has had a number of controversies trail him, most notably his arrest alongside fellow singer, Naira Marley for their alleged involvement with cybercrime better known as Yahoo Yahoo.

Following the arrest, Zlatan was released some few days later while the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission later filed charges against Naira Marley who spent over a month in detention.
